Brooke is a first-year Master's student in Recreation Resource Management at Utah State University in the Department of Environment and Society. An Idaho native, Brooke grew up camping and hiking in national parks with her family, where from an early age she was inspired to become a park ranger. She was grateful to finally spend a summer as a park ranger at Mount Rushmore National Memorial and another as a nonprofit ambassador at Glacier National Park, both with her twin sister. Her favorite national park is Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, even though she has spent the least amount of time there (36 hours). Her passion for national parks guides her master's research with the National Park Service to monitor and evaluate visitor experiences in an era of record visitation for national parks.
