Brooke is a second-year Master's student in the Recreation Resource Management program in the Department of Environment and Society. An Idaho native, Brooke grew up camping and hiking in the mountains, and she is grateful to have experienced national parks and other public lands as a visitor, volunteer, and nonprofit ambassador. Her passion for national parks guides her research with the National Park Service Conservation and Outdoor Recreation Division on collaboration with state offices of outdoor recreation, and after graduating in May 2019, she looks forward to continuing to support public-private partnerships that bring parks and people together.
