Dr. Tian Guo earned her doctorate from the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management at NC State University in the summer of 2016. While persuing her Ph.D., she also earned a Master's degree in Statistics from NC State's Statistics Department. Her general research interest is to promote mutually beneficial human-nature interactions by advancing the understanding of responsible recreation behavior. Currently, Tian's research focuses on values, environmental education and responsible recreation behavior. Prior to working with Dr. Smith and Dr. Roger Moore (NC State) on her dissertation research, Tian earned a Bachelor's and Master's degree from Sichuan University (China) as well as a Master's degree form the University of Minnesota. Off-campus, Tian is a Chinese food ambassador and aspiring hiking enthusiast.
